Bio: Kathy Davis serves as City Systems Engineer for the city of Indianapolis working on finance, management, and information systems. With the city team, Kathy is charged with eliminating the city’s structural budget deficit and developing information and management systems that help the city and its partners plan and mobilize to meet goals.

Kathy owns Davis Design Group LLC, providing data analysis and computer simulation environments that give organizations a look forward at their goals and strategies.

Kathy is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard Business School. She was the first woman to serve as Indiana’s Lieutenant Governor. Kathy also served as Controller for the City of Indianapolis, Secretary of the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration, and State Budget Director. Kathy started her career managing manufacturing operations for Cummins Engine Company.

Kathy chairs the board of Noble of Indiana, serving people with developmental disabilities. She serves on the boards of the Indianapolis Foundation and Central Indiana Community Foundation, the Lumina Foundation for Education, and as a Sister on the Planet Ambassador for Oxfam America. Kathy serves on the Dean’s Leadership Councils for IU School for Public and Environmental Affairs, IU Public Policy Institute, and WGU Indiana. Kathy is chairman of the board of Chembio Diagnostics Inc.
